Asia Study Abroad Program

The Asia Study Abroad Program is focused on cultural diversity and appreciation as a program that travels to many countries throughout Asia. The program also fosters leadership skills as students meet with multiple business leaders throughout the semester as well as take on leadership roles themselves. I participated in the ASAP Program during the Spring of 2020. We were able to travel to four different Asian countries (Japan, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia) before returning home as a result of the pandemic.

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Jaiyos

While in Bangkok, Thailand, we were able to visit a Deloitte branch in order to further our leadership education. It was enlightening talking to a partner at Deloitte about the promises of hard work and dedication.

BMW

In Rayong, Thailand, we visited a BMW plant which helped further our scope of leadership in the professional world. It was inspiring to visit a manufacturer that worked so effortlessly and efficiently.

Social Media Manager

In the Spring of 2020, I participated in the Asia Study Abroad Program during which I traveled to four different countries throughout Asia while taking a full course load. I documented our travels as our social media manager. This is a sample of an Instagram post I created.

Ford Thailand Manufacturing

During our time in Rayong, Thailand, we visited a Ford manufacturing plant. It was enlightening to hear from their dynamic plant leader about what it takes to not only lead a productive workplace, but a positive and inclusive one as well.
